Technopole maritime du Québec (TMQ) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and development of Quebec’s innovative maritime sectors, including maritime transportation, marine technologies, and marine biotechnologies.

Interface par excellence between industry and research, TMQ prides itself on being a unique facilitator and liaising organization. The organization specializes in generating interactions, growth and innovation in the maritime sectors.

Technopole maritime du Québec brings together and mobilizes players in the province’s innovative maritime sectors around shared objectives in order to (i) create a conducive environment for the development of businesses and organizations, (ii) bridge the gap between industry and research and (iii) foster the success of the aforementioned stakeholders at the national and international levels.

NETWORK STRENGTHS

The TMQ network – also known as the marine cluster – is an assortment of businesses, teaching institutions, research and technology transfer centres, municipalities and development organizations, all leaders and ambassadors of Quebec innovation and the Blue Economy.

Technopole maritime du Québec draws its strength and motivation from its members and numerous partners throughout Quebec, the rest of Canada and overseas. Increased connections and the sharing of knowledge and expertise within the network reinforces the authority of each of its members, accelerating projects and the development of new markets.
